Kingsley Elementary School Closure FAQ
After completing the public hearing process and carefully considering the future of District 65, the Board voted in January 2026 to approve the closure of Kingsley Elementary at the end of the 2025–2026 school year. We have received questions about next steps and want to make sure those answers are available to all. Frequently asked questions and answers are listed below.
